Adobe and Southwestern Plans

Adobe and Southwestern style house plans are comfortable, eco-friendly and especially practical in dry climates. Adobe or Southwestern style homes are usually one-level and have flat roofs, covered porches, and vigas (round log ceiling beams). Adobe and Southwestern style plans include a variety of other styles commonly referred to as Pueblo, Spanish Revival, Santa Fe or Mission homes. Many are asymmetrical in design with stucco walls over brick and irregularly placed windows. Southwestern style homes are a mixture of Spanish Colonial and Indian Pueblo architecture creating a truly unique combination; that perfectly suits the Southwest and New Mexico landscapes.
