Southern House Plans

Several architectural styles dominate the South. One style is casual with dormers, symmetrical windows and a covered front porch. These are Southern home plans and they combine elements from many different American style homes. Another predominant Southern style house are Southern Plantation style homes which are grand homes with opulent features, grand entries and staircases. The focal point of this home is the front porch with a beautiful balcony above. While the Southern style homes above are most prevalent, many styles can be found throughout the South including Beach/Coastal homes, Mediterranean homes, Sunbelt designs and even Lowcountry homes.
